Jan 22, 2025 · Received an $850,865 grant and a $179,135 loan to mitigate the presence of Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) contamination in the Applewood Manor Well 1, serving Dallas Township. The project will include the construction of a new treatment facility, to be located on the existing station property, and will include the usage of ion exchange units to adsorb the PFOS and PFOA compounds. The project will address health and safety concerns associated with this type of contamination. · —
