Oct 22, 2024 · Sampling data has shown that the PFOS and PFOA levels in the source water for the Lake Moultrie Regional Water System are above the new EPA limits. A PFAS treatment study has been completed for this facility in order to evaluate known treatment options. The next step in determining the best treatment option is to conduct bench-scale testing to further evaluate the performance of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and to conduct pilot scale testing of Power Activated Carbon (PAC) for removing PFAS from the source water. · $265k
