A new building containing the GAC filter vessels and a clearwell will be installed to integrate the treatment with the existing filter units and chemical treatment. New pumps will be installed to convey water through the plant, and improvements to the site drainage and discharge capabilities will be installed. The project scope is further defined by the engineering report entitled ″PFAS Treatment at The Nyack Water Treatment Plant″ dated February 2021, by H2M Architects and Engineers, as may be updated, amended, supplemented, and approved by the New York Department of Health. · —
